What do you like best about SAP Commissions?

Amazing interface and mobility among devices that make it easy to use and operate. It has helped me to improve my forecast accuracy and identify at-risk opportunities.

The application is very easy to use whether you are looking up information, setting up new data, or creating new rules and plans.

Instead of Excel we can use the product since it can process commissions of multiple sales reps across multiple currencies for millions of transactions

What do you dislike about SAP Commissions?

Not much but sometimes it takes too long for maintenance

I really haven’t found anything I would consider a downside.

There should have been some solution to SAP workflow embedded in the product so that we need not go to workflow for approval

I had used the Sales Compensation tool at a global biotech company. It was easy to use and to configure the commission plans. I found it to be intuitive.

Callidus sales performance management application offers rich capabilities to support complex commission processing and functionality. The application provides a friendly user interface that is easy to configure and maintain by business admins.

Cons

“Difficulty scrolling while inside a particular report.”
“We were not happy with the job Callidus did to install this software, substandard project managers, horrible support, software is extremely complex to set up and administer.”
“Well, we did not find anything here in this software that we should comment negative.”
The only thing I can think of was the customer support. When issues arose with the processing, Callidus support was not very helpful in resolving the issue. Took months to finally resolve.
The reporting capabilities are limited and lack advanced capabilities to support complex and dynamic data models.
What problems is SAP Commissions solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is helping me with intelligent recommendations, insights, and analytics. Previously, I was very much dependent on manual processes but after using this, it has made my life a lot easier

We are successfully calculating commissions as well as providing internal and external reporting.

I’ve realized that as long as you input the data correctly you can find anything
