What do you like best about Core Commissions?

I work with Shane Phillips and he has not only educated me on the product and how to use it, but is available to answer any and all of my questions. He gets issues resolved in a timely manner.

What I like best is the flexibility to adapt to all of our ever changing needs without too much fuss. We have a highly complex and dynamic pay structure and CORE has allowed us to house all our data, reporting, analytics and statements all in one place

Much easier to navigate that google and excel sheets! Ideal to track for accounting and finance without glitches or complicated formulas to format. The ability to change info quarterly and code adjustments for time differences is perfect to keep up with the constantly changing trends!

What do you dislike about Core Commissions?

Like anything, there are glitches. But Shane does a great job of getting them handled.

I only dislike the learning curve in the beginning, it’s a great tool but can seem a bit “”much” at first.

The response time on troubleshooting issues or help questions is 2 to 3 days and could be quicker!

What problems is Core Commissions solving and how is that benefiting you?

They have made our commission process more timely and accurate.

We have allowed visibility to our Sales employees to our accounting data through reporting features assigned by function. We have also been able to provide all incentivize pay employees monthly attainment statements.

Primarily this tool has been most helpful for tracking sale payments of individuals and changes in trends. We can keep track of how often people purchased and down periods seamlessly!

Pros

We have a number of products and services that we offer so the ability to manage everything was crucial. Our custom setup saves us hours and hours of crunching numbers every month and having to do our commission reporting manually. Our teammates are more informed and we are saving money from less time being spent on things that are not the customer.

Cons

With any new software it takes a little time to become familiar with the options and getting it to generate what you ultimately want. Core helps with training and supplies numerous videos. You have to be willing to commit a little time to getting the most out of it.

There is a lot of back and forth between reports instead of having everything I need in a central location.

not really a con – think it will take some training to fully utilize this software.

Each time I have found something I wanted updated, the team at Core Commissions has incorporated that into the standard tool.
