What do you like best about HoneyBook?

I really like how simple it is to send invoices to my clients and it really helps me keep track of the process that each client is in so I know exactly what stage we are what we are working on for that client and if I need to send out any updates or anything like that? It also is extremely helpful for leads if I get a new lead edit remind me to follow up with them and be more likely to land the client so overall it’s a very great experience

I love how easy it is to navigate the website. The contact form is what I needed the most and it was so simple to create. Once someone does inquire and I’m sent the lead, even the layout of the information is easy to read and straightforward. Other leads I get outside of Honeybook email the inquiries in a way that is harder to read unless you go into their app or site. With Honeybook, they make sure you can get all info you need in an email without having to click out.

I love how easy it is to manage a client throughout their entire project. I love that contracts are included and much of the process can be automated. I can do pretty much anything with HB, even look for someone to hire for a job in the Opportunities area.

I love how simple HoneyBook is to use and especially how it tracks our project progress and email communication! We have multiple designers assigned to projects and the fact that HomeyBook tracks the email communication for you is AMAZING! It keeps everyone on the project up-to-date and informed. No more searching for emails in your inbox!

What do you dislike about HoneyBook?

My only dislike is the high fees for using the invoicing system for payments, and how long it takes to receive the payment and then they also charge you if you want to get your money instantly which the whole point I switch from PayPal invoicing was for a little cheaper fees, which was a little bit left in a 0.8% cheaper I believe but then if you want your money instantly like how PayPal gives it to you instantly they charge an extra one percent or 1.5% or something like that which end up costing more than PayPal to give the exact same service and speed. Of course HoneyBook invoicing looks way more professional and better and has a more pleasant experience for the clients, but when it comes to cost effectiveness, it’s not really that much cheaper than using PayPal for smaller companies so it is something I do dislike and I wish that they would change this for smaller companies At least , because it feels like you’re being strong-arms into paying really high fees if you need the money fast.

There could be perks and incentives for customers like myself who hit over the $10k in bookings who want to utilize all the aspects of the site like proposals, contracts, brochures, and contact forms. The processing and instant deposit fees I seem high compared to other companies.

A lot of my client emails go to their spam folder. I also wish customization was better. I don’t like the way my emails look and I’ve gone back to using my old system for client communication, which is unfortunate to have it in a different place.

If I do have to pick something I dislike about HoneyBook, it would be the additional fees for processing payments. I understand most services add this on, but a smaller percentage would be so nice! I would also like to customize my branding a little more in certain areas.

What problems is HoneyBook solving and how is that benefiting you?

Oh they’re helping you keep track of your clients a lot more land more clients by converting your leads into actual clients, but these are things that are able to be solved by multiple different platforms maybe even cheaper I’m not sure but it is very helpful overall it’s been a pleasant experience. I really do like using them. I do wish it was just a little cheaper for smaller companies, but is the benefits outweighs all of the drawbacks, so I do like all of the things that they are helping me with

Honeybook allows me to point my potential customers to one place to inquire, gather all necessary information, and proceed to booking through brochures, proposals, and contracts, all of which I do through Honeybook. I love that I can use one site to do get my client through the entire booking process.

HB solves many issues with client management and project management by offering many services all in one place and giving the client access to relevant parts of the project. It saves me a lot of time and money by having it all in one subscription and in one place. And clients are happier because nothing is getting lost and they are well taken care of.

They help me run my day-to-day financials, invoicing, and project timeline. I love that I can connect my HoneyBook account to my Quickbooks account. They have helped me look and feel more professional as I run and operate my small business.
